About Alexandra
Alexandra has a Bachelor of Arts from Murdoch University and a Bachelor of Law (with 1st Class Honours) from Monash University. She was National Director of Overseas Projects for Oaktree Foundation; and Campaign Manager of Save the Children in Sierra Leone. She worked as an advisor to the Chief of Staff in the office of the President of Sierra Leone on delivery of the President’s flagship projects, with a particular focus on extractive industries before undertaking her MPP with the support of her John Monash Scholarship. She was named in the Global Tax top 50 of 2017 for her work on issues of tax avoidance. Alex is currently Director, Tax and Sovereign Debt at the International Institute for Sustainable Development and is an expert on the UN Subcommittee on Extractive Industry Taxation.
