About Alison
Alison has a Bachelor of International Studies with Honours from the University of New South Wales, and was awarded the University Medal in Sociology. She completed her Masters in Sociology at Oxford University, and was awarded the A H Halsey prize for best thesis. Her interests are in non-mainstream means of influencing political debate and democracy, and also in state-sanctioned human rights abuses including extra-judicial detention and assassination. Previously she has worked in partnership development, and program design at universities. She currently works in strategy development and implementation.
