About Cassandra
Originally from Tasmania, Cassandra Joore-Short completed a Bachelor of Arts (First Class Honours) in Art History from the University of Melbourne and graduated with the University Arts Medal and the National Gallery of Victoria Art History Prize. In 2018, Cassandra was awarded an Ertegun Scholarship in the Humanities from the University of Oxford. She completed a Masters of Studies in Women’s Studies with a dissertation on the French modernist artist Suzanne Valadon, and graduated with Distinction. As a John Monash Scholar, Cassandra will pursue a DPhil in History of Art at the University of Oxford with a focus on feminist art history and women’s history.
