
Hannah is employed at the Centre for Multicultural Youth as the Senior Liaison Officer for the Youth Referral and Independent Person Program, which supports 10-17 year olds in police custody in Victoria. Her role focuses on incident management and coordination of procedural, legal, referral and welfare responses to achieve the best outcomes for youth in the justice system.
Hannah is passionate about improving the lives of young persons through law and policy, in areas including policing, education and criminal law. She has worked on a range of programs to reduce youth and social disadvantage within the School Partnerships Program, Legal Action for Afghanistan, Banyule Youth Services, the Fair Work Commission and across a range of youth and social services organisations.
After completing a Bachelor of Laws/ Bachelor of Arts (Politics), alongside a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, she was admitted as a lawyer in 2022. In recognition of her work with young persons during this time, she was awarded the 2019 Order of Australia Association Foundation Scholarship and was mentored by The Hon Julia Gillard AC.
