About Katherine
Katherine is the senior adviser for public policy at the Australian National University’s National Security College and a non-resident fellow at the German Marshall Fund of the United States. Katherine regularly presents to government and public audiences on topics including national security, cyber security and technology geopolitics. She has testified before several parliamentary inquiries, written for outlets like The Strategist, Lowy Interpreter and Foreign Affairs, and has appeared on ABC Radio, Channel 7 News and Sky News. Previously, Katherine practiced law as a commercial solicitor with King & Wood Mallesons, served as a judge’s associate in the High Court of Australia, and worked as a ministerial adviser in the Australian Government. She holds a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and Bachelors of Laws (Hons I) / International Relations (Business) from Bond University, where she was the university law medallist.
