About Katie

Dr Katie Quinn is a Postdoctoral Research Scientist in Biomedical Informatics at Stanford University, developing methods to use emerging sources of electronic health data to improve patient health outcomes. Her current focus is characterising health outcomes associated with multi-drug treatment, using large insurance claims databases. Prior to this, Katie completed her PhD at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where she used quantitative modelling to study the dynamics of gene expression.
