About Ling San
San has a Bachelor of Medical Science and an MBBS from the University of Tasmania with First Class Honours and works as a Paediatric Doctor at the Royal Children’s Hospital and Monash Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. She enjoys adventure sports including white-water rafting and rock climbing. Through her medical role, volunteer work and research, she serves vulnerable and disadvantaged populations including children with cancer, refugees, migrants and Indigenous Australians. She helped establish an international research collaboration involving institutions in Australia and Washington DC for children with brain tumours. San is currently an Associate Research Scientist at The University of Columbia, New York.
