For the applicants who receive a John Monash Scholarship, the benefits are both immediate and enduring. 

To date, we have awarded 248 Scholarships to Australians to study in the fields of health and medicine, engineering, science, fine arts, education, law, political theory, business, entrepreneurship and much more. John Monash Scholars are working in their chosen fields of expertise whilst actively responding to some of the greatest challenges of our time and shaping a positive future for Australia. They receive the ongoing endorsement and support of the General Sir John Monash Foundation, John Monash Foundation Leadership Academy, as well as our governments, national corporate, academic and private supporters, and subsequent international networks.

• Receive $75,000 AUD for each year of study (maximum length of study is 3 years at a total of $225,000 AUD).
• Travel support and advice for relocating overseas.
• Join a collaborative and actively connected community of 248 John Monash Scholars to date, located in Australia and many other countries.
• Gain admission into the John Monash Foundation Leadership Academy and benefit from lifelong professional development while enhancing your capacity for international collaboration and leadership in your field.

Special university focused scholarships -

• The Roth/Segal John Monash Harvard Scholarship is awarded to a Scholar who has chosen to study at Harvard University.
