Katherine used her John Monash Scholarship to complete a Master’s in International Public Health (Hons.) and a Diploma of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (Hons.) at the University of Oxford. As part of her Master’s, she completed an Internship at the World Health Organisation in Geneva. After completing her Master’s, Katherine returned to Iraq to work for MSF and volunteered at a children’s hospital in Laos. She worked in paediatrics at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne.
