About Laura
Laura Grant is an organisational development practitioner and leadership development specialist, working at the intersection of leadership, culture, conflict, and human potential. She is currently Associate Director — People and Leadership at Pinnacle Group Australia, a leading management consultancy specialising in evidence-based leadership development and OD. She leads end-to-end design, facilitation, coaching, and evaluation of leadership programs for senior leaders and executives across government, health, education, and the private sector. She also teaches Dispute Resolution in the University of Queensland’s Master of Laws program.

Based in Melbourne for the past 10 years, Laura’s career has spanned four continents and reflects a consistent throughline: understanding what enables people, teams, and systems to function well — and what gets in the way. Before moving into leadership and organisational consulting, she worked as a Civil Affairs Officer for the UN Peacekeeping Mission in Timbutku, Mali (MINUSMA), as a humanitarian policy advisor at World Vision Australia, and as a deliberative engagement consultant specialising in complex, contested public policy challenges.

Her particular interests are leadership in complex, high-stakes environments; conflict capability and constructive organisational cultures; and the conditions that allow people to lead with integrity and effectiveness. With her John Monash Scholarship, Laura studied a Masters of Peace and Conflict Studies from Uppsala University in Sweden, following her Bachelor of Laws / Bachelor of Arts from the University of Queensland.
