About Sam
An early career lawyer, Sam hopes to pursue postgraduate research in law at the University of Oxford, with a focus on public law, government transparency and corporate influence, and public interest legal practice. He has worked in a number of legal organisations in Australia, including as Tipstaff and Research Director to the Chief Justice of New South Wales, as a legal officer at a Northern Territory Aboriginal Land Council, and as an advisor to the Attorney-General of the Northern Territory. He is interested in how the law can be used to promote equitable, compassionate, and evidence-based public governance, with a focus on the implications of governance failures for vulnerable and marginalised Australians.
