About Thenu

Thenu is an Australian policy adviser and human rights advocate. She is passionate about strengthening Australia’s engagement with diaspora communities, and leveraging their expertise to inform more inclusive, effective diplomacy and foreign policy.

Thenu holds a Juris Doctor and a Bachelor of Arts (Politics and International Studies) from the University of Melbourne. She is currently pursuing a Master of Public Policy at the University of Oxford and has been appointed as a Fellow with UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, in the U.S. Protection and Solutions Unit.
