Catherine is an international lawyer committed to using international law to protect important rights and values. She has advised and represented clients before international courts and tribunals, including the International Court of Justice, the European Court of Human Rights, the International Criminal Court, the United Nations Human Rights Committee and international arbitration tribunals. She consults, teaches and publishes regularly in public international law and international dispute resolution. Catherine is also a former Australian high jump champion and was nominated for Australian of the Year in 2012.
Catherine holds a Masters of Law (Public International Law) from the University of Cambridge where she was the Whewell Scholar in International Law, and a dual Bachelor of Law and Arts from the University of Queensland. She is currently completing a PhD at the University of Cambridge that focuses on breaches of international law.
