Jillian has a Bachelor of Civil Engineering with First Class Honours, who was the Australian Young Professional Engineer of the Year and Sydney University's Young Alumni of the Year. She established her boutique infrastructure advisory firm, The Infrastructure Collaborative in 2009, that serves clients in regional NSW and Silicon Valley.
Jillian used her scholarship to study a Master of Business Administration and Master of Public Policy at Stanford University.
Upon returning to Australia, Jillian continued to run her infrastructure advisory firm with the mission is to move horizon infrastructure projects from planning shelves to be shovel ready.
In 2018, as the NSW Rural Woman of the Year, Jillian purchased a 133-year-old heritage post office in Dubbo. Following a full renovation, Jillian became the founder and CEO of The Exchange, a coworking space built to "empower the brave to grow, connect and succeed".
Jillian also serves on the board of the NSW Public Policy Institute, is the Chair of the Daily Telegraph Rural Advisory Panel, and a keen backcountry skier and mountain biker.
