When Dr Dilani Kahawala (2008 John Monash Scholar) headed to Harvard University to complete a PhD in theoretical particle physics it was to unravel the mysteries of the universe. But living in Boston between Harvard and MIT she found a burgeoning startup scene and soon embraced the emerging tech sector bringing with her the logic and systems level thinking she refined over the course of her PhD.
