Last night the 2024 Scholars, Scholar alumni, Foundation staff and friends had a dinner at the Glasshouse Café in Canberra to congratulate the outgoing Scholars and celebrate their upcoming Presentation Ceremony at Government House.
The 2024 John Monash Scholars have visited the Australian War Memorial in Canberra today as part of their three-day Scholarship induction program. The group was greeted by Australian War Memorial Director Matt Anderson PSM who spoke with Scholars, reflecting on the significance of General Sir John Monash as an Australian military leader. Monash was one of the principal organisers of ANZAC Day and an advocate for Melbourne’s Shrine of Remembrance.
The annual Leadership Development program run by May Samali (2014 NSW Premier's John Monash Scholar) has kicked off today its two-day program in Canberra with the outgoing cohort of 2024 Scholars.
