Eve graduated from the University of Tasmania with a Bachelor of Science in 2021, majoring in Chemistry and Statistics. She was the 2021 valedictorian for the College of Sciences and Engineering. Throughout her undergraduate studies, Eve has contributed to several chemistry projects within Organometallics and Catalysis, a field concerned with the development of chemical catalysts to improve reaction efficiency and unlock new chemical processes. Eve has co-authored two peer-reviewed publications and presented her work at national chemistry conferences.
Eve has a deep concern for the environment and aspires to use her career in chemistry to contribute to solving sustainability issues such as plastic pollution and heightened levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide. Eve plans to undertake a DPhil in Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Oxford, developing bimetallic catalyst systems for the activation and upcycle of carbon dioxide.
