Emma is a conservation scientist and manages environmental grants at Arcadia, a charitable fund based in London. Arcadia’s environmental grants protect threatened biodiversity and landscapes, train conservation professionals, and make knowledge freely available. Emma completed a DPhil at the School of Geography and the Environment at the University of Oxford, exploring the effectiveness of approaches used to protect landscapes and seascapes. Emma has worked in Australia, French Polynesia and the UK on projects relating to natural resource management, marine monitoring, and environmental policy development.
